Coaching Approach

Kate brings more than a set of coaching questions or skills to her coaching practice. Whilst bringing extensive leadership experience, coaching is not in her view about passing on one’s own leadership experience. Instead, Kate’s coaching enables leaders and managers to change and grow through developing their self-awareness and challenging their self-limiting mindset in the coaching partnership. It is useful to think of coaching as a time-effective - and cost-effective - way of making the changes you desire or having time to build self-awareness of your current life.

Kate’s coaching nurtures wellbeing and drives personal aspirations, whilst not ignoring company or community goals. She enhances creativity and enables an individual to reach or re-establish their own sense of purpose and worth.

Leadership Experience

Kate works uses different coaching models reflecting when contracting with clients, looking together at what would be the best match with what clients bring to the coaching relationship. People leadership, change and transition, exercising a duty of care to staff, managing and leading continuous change, reaching targets, co- leadership of a multi-million-pound building project, financial management, leading a redundancy process, staff restructuring and safeguarding are just a few areas where Kate has extensive experience in leadership.
